On June 16 2016 ToonMax held a large conference to introduce to its partners and investors the studio's animation film production plan for the next four years. Pre production clips from the 8 planned major theatrical release films were introduced to the attendees. As announced earlier on this site ToonMax is adapting Drowsy Emperor's "Boku and Bob" characters and story line into a major theatrical 3D animated film scheduled for release in 2017. Samuel Porteous (penname Nathaniel Scobie) the author and illustrator of the original Boku and Bob property is acting as creative director for the project.

2016年六月十六号，炫动传播召开大型发布会，向其合作伙伴以及投资者介绍公司未来四年的动漫电影制作计划。炫动传播向与会者发布了八部准备在影院推出的动漫电影的预告片花。本平台早前曾宣布炫动传播正在根据金树鸟公司创作的“博库与鲍勃”人物和故事情节改变制作主流3D动漫电影，预计将于2017年上映。孙明德先生（笔名Nathaniel Scobie) 作为原作文字作者和插画设计将担任该电影的创意总监。
