Shanghai based graphic artist and writer Nathaniel Scobe’s Tintin and Little Nemo inspired Boku and Bob series is being adapted into a series of graphic novels.
Boku and Bob Book I: “The Emergence!”provides the origin story of Boku and Bob. Bob is a young man not long out of high school passing time working at his uncle’s rundown bio technology incubator. Then one day while cleaning up after an accident in one of the labs, he discovers the bustling bundle of divergent DNA that is the mysterious Boku!
In Book II Boku and Bob discover the identity of the alien creatures that first scattered men across the planet and confounded their language and learn that they, tens of thousands of years later, are coming back to finish the job. Boku and Bob now must work with Alternate Bob and "the emergents"; beings now assumed to be something akin to what earlier human civilizations would have referred to as demigods to prepare for this final confrontation.
In Boku and Bob III: "Ten Years After" Boku and Bob aged well beyond their years by the efforts required in Boku and Bob Book II settle into a comfortable semi-retirement of wealth, fame and hero worship of a planet that owes them its existence. Slowly Boku and Bob drift apart as Boku continues his approach, begun in Book II, to humanoid form.
Boku and Bob IV: "Epilogue" concludes the Boku and Bob series setting out the ultimate fates of the characters contained in the series and the futures that await them.
The events set out in Byon and Boku: "The Unraveling Robot" take place between the end of Boku and Bob Book I and the end of Boku and Bob Book II. In this story Byron is the adventurous 12 year-old nephew of Dr. Nautilus.
The story begins when, in mysterious fashion, Dr. Nautilus's team comes into possession of an old 1950s analogue style robot with some interesting qualities.
