Drowsy Emperor's Chief Creative Director, Samuel Porteous was invited as a special guest to the International Cartoon Animation Venture Capital Conference held November 6th to 9th in Nanjing. Sam served as a judge of for the conference pitch contest and provided a key note speech on industry trends on opening day. The conference brought together top Chinese animation companies with Chinese and international venture capital. The well organized conference left both animation companies and the attending venture capital firms specializing in entertainment very satisfied. Many fine short and long form animation film projects were introduced to an appreciative audience.
